About

The Southern Oklahoma Sportsmen’s Club is located 1 mile west of Davis, OK on Highway 7.  Our facilities include a 100 yard rifle range, a 25 and 50 yard bullseye pistol range, a 50 yard rimfire/pistol range, and a 50 yard multi-purpose range.

Only club members and their guests are allowed to use the facility.  If you are interested in joining the club, please attend one of our monthly meetings, held at the Davis Public Library (209 E. Benton Street in Davis, OK) on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.  If the library is not available on the night of the meeting, we will post the meeting location on the website.

Member dues are $60 per year, plus a one-time initiation fee of $20.  Two “work days” are also required each year, and may take the form of range maintenance, helping with public events, or other types of service to the club.

Electronic versions of the club membership application and summaries of the membership requirements are available below.  While you can print and fill out the form in advance, you must submit it in person, along with your membership dues, at one of our monthly meetings.

Great gun club! My husband and I have enjoyed the use of your facility on several occasions. I believe we need to make a meeting, our membership fee is due. We will be giving our son a check for Christmas, so he can enjoy it as well :)

Do you still have Bullseye matches?

  4. L. Libasci says:

I need a match on the 16th or 17th. Do you know of any 2700 in OK on that date?

    • soscdavis says:

I talked to some of our Bullseye shooters at our meeting last night, and they said the only match they know of this weekend is at the OKC Gun Club in Arcadia on Saturday.

  5. L. Libasci says:

P.S. Your match bulletin on your website is date 2012.

I would like to join the club although the meeting days are on one of my work days. Is there a way I can get around this?

  8. Paul Evans says:

Do you have to have a hunters license to be able to join the club?

  9. Brent says:

I am considering joining to. Do you allowe skeet shooting to.?

    • soscdavis says:

We currently don’t allow skeet shooting, since the range is too small to safely shoot into the air. The range is a narrow strip of land between a highway and a cattle ranch, so every shot has to be directed at a backstop. There has been some talk of organizing a skeet shooting group at some other location in the area, but there hasn’t been any action on that front yet.
